Diana Benedetti

Diana Benedetti was raised in a very religious family in Cartagena, Colombia. From a young age she came to understand the importance of spirituality and, as an adult, the nature of the human condition. For as long as she can remember Diana has been experimenting with different mediums, always eager to try new techniques. It wasn't until she came across oils that her love for them flourished. What fascinated her was the ability to manipulate them with smooth consistency.

Diana's pieces are full of vivid colors and textures combined with subtle messages that enrich the soul. Her primary focus is on the beauty of the past, recognizing its importance and using it as a reminder to improve on our future. As an artist, she feels it is her mission to use her talent to improve the life of those who see her work through her messages about life, love and positivity.

Diana studied Fine Art at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, Miami-Dade Community College in Miami, and Georgia State University in Atlanta. Her paintings have been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions and museums and galleries in the United States and abroad. These museums include the Florida Museum of Hispanic and Latin American Art in Coral Gables, Florida, the Museo de Arte Moderno in Cartagena, Colombia, the Luzma Gallery in Miami, the O & Y Gallery in Coral Gables, Florida , the Art Rouge Gallery in Miami, Florida, the Kapz Gallery in Coral Gables, Florida, the Galeria de la Aduana in Barranquilla, Colombia, and the LA Art Gallery in San Salvador, El Salvador.
